Sunway Pyramid – Chinese New Year Decorations 2012

Do you guys remember my Christmas Deco 2011 posts? I was unable to go to many malls due to time constraint and being car-less doesn’t help. However, now I will be posting photos of 2012′s Chinese New Year Decorations instead and the first mall decoration that gave me the Chinese New Year spirit would be Sunway Pyramid.

I don’t know, maybe it was the decorations on the ceiling or the waterfall in the middle of the center court or maybe it’s just the grand theme called “The Majestic Rising”, but I really like it here. I even thought it was nicer than Pavillion’s 600-feet long dragon! Or, maybe it’s just me. But what do you guys think? Is the Sunway Pyramid CNY Deco pretty?

Sadly though, since I was at Sunway Pyramid in the day time, I didn’t take the decorations outside the mall because those decorations are only nice at night – once they’re lighted up. So, if you happen to be in Sunway Pyramid at night, do go out of the mall and take photos of the surrounding decorations. While you’re at it, walk all the way to Sunway Hotel Resort too. I bet you’ll love the lanterns, lighted up dragons and cherry blossoms!

OK, I admit here that the reason I like Sunway Pyramid’s CNY decorations is because of the waterfall!

Are you guys ready for Chinese New Year and the year of the Dragon? My brothers were born in the year of the dragon so they are extremely excited to welcome their auspicious sign this year. Hope 2012 will be an auspicious year indeed!
